Dr. Dibyajiban Mahapatra, MD, FACP is a practicing internist in Huntsville, Alabama, since 1998. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, he completed his residency at Jersey City Medical Center after earning his MD from KEM Hospital, Bombay. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at UAB, Huntsville Campus.

He earned his MD from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and is the Chairman-Elect, RSSDI Odisha.
Prof Jayanta K Panda
Prof. Jayant Panda, MD, FICP, FACP is Former Professor & Head, Department of Medicine at SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and a senior consultant in Diabetes, Metabolic, and Critical Care Medicine. A senior academic leader, he has held key positions with ICP, API, IMA Odisha, RSSDI, and AIAARO. He has authored over 70 national and international publications and has served as Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trials. Prof. Panda is widely recognized for his contributions to physician education, diabetes care, and professional medical leadership.
Dr. Amitav Mohanty
Dr. Amitav Mohanty, MBBS, MD, FICP is a Senior Consultant in Medicine & Critical Care at Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar. An accomplished clinician–academician, he serves on multiple scientific, ethics, and research committees and is a DNB faculty member. A prolific researcher with 100+ national and international publications, he is Vice Chairman, API Odisha, and a recipient of the Times of India Bhubaneswar Healthcare Leadership Award.
Dr. Sunil Kota
Dr. Sunil Kumar Kota, MD (Med), DrNB (Endocrinology), FACE is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Swasthya Sadan, Berhampur, Odisha. An internationally recognized researcher, he has over 105 peer-reviewed publications, multiple national and international awards, and has delivered prestigious orations. He has received global research training and travel grants and is widely known for innovation in diabetes and metabolic care.
Dr. Lalatendu Mohanty
Prof. Dr. Lalatendu Mohanty, MD, FICP is Associate Dean & Vice Principal and Professor of General Medicine at Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar. He has held key leadership roles with API Odisha, including Vice-Chairman and Organizing Secretary, and is an active national faculty speaker. A prolific academic, he has published 40+ peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His clinical and research interests include infectious diseases, diabetes, critical care, nephrology, and toxicology.
Dr. Sambit Das
Prof. (Dr.) Sambit Das, MD, DM, FIPMER, FACP, FACE is Professor & Head of Endocrinology at KIMS Medical College and Superspeciality Hospital, Bhubaneswar, and Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at Endeavour Clinics. A national leader in endocrinology, he has served in key roles with ESI, RSSDI, AIAARO, and ESICON. He has authored 78 international and national publications and 24 book chapters, including chapters in API, ESI, and RSSDI textbooks. Recipient of multiple national honors, his interests include diabetes, obesity, and clinical endocrinology research.
